Some of her achievements:
– Managed implementation of an IP project (within 4 months) that saved the company close to $3Mil/year
– Successfully delivered two non-standard hearing implants 12 months ahead of historical timelines for implant development, within the budget and utilizing shared resources. Risks were identified early in the project, managed and mitigated with brilliant results.
– Rescued a project that was running 3 months late, affecting the successful launch of our new hearing system, by fast identifying an off-shore supplier. This strategy resulted in shorter time and cost of the most lengthy deliverable.. Nominating a faster method to get invaluable feedback from our customers also contributed to this project meeting the desired deadline and be launched with one of our most awarded hearing systems. The success of this system resulted in an increase to the Cochlear share price and was awarded: a) Engineering Excellence Award in Sydney (2006); b) International Design Award, Medical category in Sydney (2006); c) National Design Award in Canberra (2006) and d) International Medical Design Award in New York, U.S.A. (2007).
